Basket-ball Women Afrobasket: Cameroon overwhelmed Mali

mali-cameroun-300x165Mali has missed a second straight victory on Saturday in the women Afrobasket being held in Maputo. Winners of Cape Verde for their first outing in Group B, the Malians were dominated by Cameroon, 64-67, the fault of a poorly negotiated money time.

After a bad start in the first quarter time they are led by 9 points (10-19), the Eagles dominated the following quarters (17-13, 26-14). But led by Priscilla Mbiandja (19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists) and Ramses Lonlack (14 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds), the Lionesses led by seven points in the last quarter time found an address on penalties in the second half of last act of this poster they won 11-21. A comeback that allows them to record their second groups win.
