Hearts of Oak player Selaisie Adjei has come under pressure for his inability to score for his team. The former player of Amidaus Professional is yet to find his name on the score sheet for his new club Hearts of Oak. Many have touted the striking instinct of the swift forward after scoring ten league goals last season.
But he failed to show even glimpses of his touted qualities – leading to his early substitution from Sunday’s defeat to Asante Kotoko. But coach David Duncan remains confident in the potential of his new striker – saying one bad game cannot be used as a measuring rod.
“I got him recruited into the team and based on that I have confidence in him,” he said. You don’t judge a player by just a single game.”
