Africa Danny Jordaan: New President of the South African football federations!

Danny-JordaanElected with 162 votes against 88 for his challenger Mandla Mazibuko, Danny Jordaan Saturday became the new president of SAFA (South African Football Association). The former president of the organization of the 2010 World Cup Committee in the country of Nelson Mandela and current adviser to the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil succeeds Kirsten Nemantadani that did apply for an extra term.

Recently appointed advisor to the president of CAF, Jordaan will work at the head of an office of 13 leaders including as Vice-Presidents: Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana (197 votes), Lucas Nhlapo (173 votes) and Elvis Shishana (167 votes) and Dr. Irvin Khoza.

The other officers are: Gladwin White, Kwenzakwakhe Ngwenya, Nomsa Mahlangu, Poobalan Givandasamy, Xolile Nkompela Truman Prince, Ria Ledwaba, Sam Masitenyane, Advocate Norman, Arendse and Natasha Tchiclas.
