It is our colleagues from Ghanasoccernet.com who have just broken the news. The local Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu left Accra on Wednesday night for a workshop for qualified countries for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa.
The two-day workshop will take place in Johannesburg from 4-5 October.
Konadu will join representatives of the qualified countries to inspect facilities and know the readiness of South Africa to host three-week tournament.
The 2014 African Nations Championship will be hosted by four cities Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Polokwane and Kimberley from 11 January – 01 February.
Ghana have been pitted in Group C alongside Congo, Ethiopia and Libya for the tournament expected to produce 32 exciting games over three weeks.
