Issiaka Cissé won the 20th Cycling Tour of Côte d’Ivoire. The Ivorian rider was coronated at the end of the 9th stage run this Sunday between Adzopé and Abidjan. A 116km long stage was won by the Burkinabe Salfo Bikienga in 2h 56’49 seconds ahead of his compatriot Abdul Aziz Nikiéma. The Ivorian Bassirou Konte completed the podium of the last stage.

The Cycling Tour of Côte d’Ivoire had been interrupted since 1998 due to the socio-political crisis that has rocked the country.
