World N°22-ranked player Andreas Seppi from Italy hooked a 6-4 6-2 victory over the former World N°1 Lleyton Hewitt of Austrilia during the Shanghai Masters’ first round on Tuesday within an hour and 21 minutes.

He is now expected to continue his race towards the title against another former World N°1 of Switzerland who is no one but Roger Federer in the second round of the tournament.
