Africa Ghana increased bonuses by 50% to beat Egypt

Black-StarsAs you might imagine the strong neccessity for the Black Stars of Ghana to beat Egypt to clinch their third consecutive World Cup qualification, the men of Kwesi Appiah will see their win bonuses increased by 50% if they happen to get rid of Egypt on October 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium of Kumasi as part of the Brazil 2014 Playoffs ‘ firts leg.

Though the venue of the return leg to be held a month later is not yet unknown after a complaint filed the Ghanaina Football Association about the current socio-political instability in Egypt, the Black Stars are looking forward to scoring as much goals as possible in kumasi for further advantage in the second leg encounter.

Being sponsored by the state-owned oil exploration, the Black Stars may well benefit from a 50 percent increment of the regular bonuses paid by the state if could rely on the latest words of Chairman Ato Anwoi and GNPC’s Alex Mould who met the players on Tuesday night.

“They (GNPC) met with the team and promised to double whatever bonus the state is giving once they win the match by 50 percent,” Ghana FA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie-Daara confirmed.
