The Serbian world number two Novak Djokovic overcome the Argentinean Juan Martin del Potro 6-1 3-6 6-7 and in so doing defends his Shanghai Masters title after defending that of the China Open in Beijing last week.

Note also that the Argentinean defeated the world number one Rafael Nadal in the semifinals on Saturday.
