Africa Doping: The Zimbabwean Chafa Devon Taitamba tested positive

The Disciplinary Committee of FIFA decided on 10 October to punish the Zimbabwean international Chafa Devon Taitamba who had been temporarily suspended in August. Taitamba violated the article 63 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code , and is struck by the art . 6 of the institution’s Anti-Doping Code.

Zimbabwe international defender was controlled at the end of a match in the preliminary competition of the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup played in Harare, Zimbabwe on June 9, 2013.
