Africa A double for Adomah, but a defeat for Middlesbrough !

adomaGhana’s Albert Adomah scored all two consolation goals for Middlesbrough in their 3-2 defeat at Barnsley in the English Npower Championship on Saturday. Adomah scored within two minutes (81st and 83rd minutes) to stage a sensational fight for Boro but Barnsley held on to victory to move off the bottom of the table.
With Barnsley 3-0 up and less than ten minutes left for play, Adomah gave Boro hope with his late double, but Barnsley, who remain in the Championship relegation zone, scrapped their way to a first home win since August.
First, in the 81st minute, he drilled a powerful low drive home from the edge of the area before he headed in from the left side of the six yard box to the bottom right corner from a Frazer Richardson cross.
Adomah was an unused substitute in Ghana’s 6-1 drubbing of Egypt in the 2014 World Cup qualifying play-off on Tuesday.
