Africa Ghana: Ahinful “We shouldn’t emphasize too much on the venue of the game instead of focusing on the preparations”

agFormer Ghanaian striker Augustine Ahinful calls his compatriots to focus on how to win the second leg of Brazil 2014 playoffs against the Pharaohs of Egypt rather than putting full concern  in the venue of the meeting on November 19.

The GFA filed a complaint to FIFA on October 7 claiming a shifting of the 2014 Brazil Playoffs’ 2nd leg match to be held in Cairo due to the recent unsafe security in Egypt.

Many then await a response from the world football body to know whether the meeting will be played in Cairo or not.

“We shouldn’t emphasize too much on the venue of the game so that we don’t lose track of our preparations towards the match,” Ahinful told Radio Gold.

“The boys are professionals and I believe they will able to play well wherever they are told to provided the place is safe.”

Ghana thrashed Egypt 6-1 during the first leg tie played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on October 15, 2013.
