Africa World Cup U-17/Nigeria: Success may be ready for semi-final

musa yahaya eaglets~7Striker Isaac Success got injured at the hamstring during Golden Eaglets’ second game of the World Cup U-17 currently in full swing in the United Arab Emirates.

Nigeria’s highest scorer in the recent Afcon U-17 who has not featured since then is making good progress if we could rely on the words of Coach Manu Garba of the Eaglets.

“Success is making good progress and he could be among the selection for the semifinal if we qualify,” Manu told SportingLife.

“He is a nice player with lots of enthusiasm for the game.

“I will be willing to play him if he is 75 percent fit.

“He was our highest goalscorer during the CAF Under-17 Championships and we’ve missed him so much.”

Success will touch the ball again if only his teammates happen to get rid of  Uruguay in Saturday’s quarter-final to be kicked off at 5pm Nigeria time.
