Africa Fred Pappoe lauds Ghana Premier League

fredpappoeWith nine games into the 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League which is still without sponsorship, many still maintain the league is the best the country has had in recent years.  Alhaji Karim Grunsah, President of Kumasi-based King Faisal Babies, recently described the League as ‘Sakora’ league. 


However, an Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, Fred Pappoe, who doubles as Management Committee Chairman for the Local Black Stars has lauded the standard of play in the Premier League. “Standard of the league is very good and impressive,” he stated. “So far I have been impressed with the level of play, every player is doing well in the league with precision,” he added. “Every player is giving off their best and so, we can say the standard of Ghana’s premier league is high.”


With nine matches played so far, Asante Kotoko leads the log with 21 points with the bottom side being Inter Allies, who have picked only one win in the campaign.
