The Brazilian referee who officiated Nigeria’s 4-1 win over Iran during the second of World Cup U-17 currently in full swing in the United Arab Emirates, is once again appointed by the FIFA to direct the Semi-final clach between Golden Eaglets and Sweden’s youngsters.
Heber Roberto Lopes will not be alone on the lawn. He will be assisted by Allesandro Rocha and Marcelo van Grasse who also served as assistant referees in Nigeria’s game against Iran.
Lopes who was adjudged as the Brazilian referee of the year in 2009 is one of the elite match officials in South America.
