Brazil 2014 Ghana delegation this morning in Lome for talks over Cairo safety

Right to Dream AcademyAccording to breaking news by our colleagues from Ghanasoccernet, Ghana officials will meet FIFA General Secretary Jerome Valcke in Lome on Monday morning to clarify the security plans for next Tuesday’s World Cup playoff in Cairo.

The meeting has been convened after Ghana government wrote to FIFA as last week for an elaborate security plan for the qualifier.

This was followed by a visit to Zurich by Ghana legend Abedi Ayew Pele.

The delegation left Accra early this morning by road to Lome-which is a four hour journey- for the meeting which is scheduled to start at 8am.

Egypt must win 5-0 to eliminate Ghana who won the first leg 6-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in October.
