Currently lacking more opportunities in the first team of Chelsea of father Jose Mourinho, Ghana international midfielder Michael Essien is said to have fallen out with the manager with who whom he enjoyed a father and son relationship  so far.

The former Olympique Lyon man who has always impressed when playing for Chelsea in less significant cup games, dismissed these believes while maintaining he is not overly worried by his apparent lack of first team action at Chelsea.

“I have absolutely no issues with Mourinho,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“People like to talk a lot and most of what they say are not true.

“I have been in football for some time now so I am not really bothered by the lacking first team action at Chelsea.”

The Black Stars currently at training camp in Turkey await Essien Tuesday night ahead of their second-leg World Cup playoff against Egypt on November 19.
