Ghana Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah after the victory over the Pharaohs of Egypt said Black coaches are capable of doing what white coaches can achieve.
Kwesi made a record in the history of Ghana football as he became the first Ghanaian coach to lead the Black Stars to the World Cup.
“What I have done with my technical team is a sign to show that when you give a local coach the needed support and motivation, he will deliver excellently.
“I am proud to be a ghanaian and am happy that i did not dissapoint local coaches and all Ghanaians“, Kwesi told Asempa fm.
Appiah led the stars to beat the Pharaohs 7-3 aggregate to qualify to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The Black Stars have also set a record by being the second country in the whole world with highest goals in the qualifying games.
