Gordon Igesund’s Bafana Bafana stunned not only the Spanish football but also the whole world’s football fans when they beat World and European champions Spain in a highly-charged international friendly at FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Bernard Parker’s solitary strike in the 56th minute which took his goal tally in national team colours to 19, made all the difference in a match attended by a good crowd.
The match was attended by state President, Jacob Zuma together with Minister of Sport and Recreation Fikile Mbalula and Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane among the top dignitaries.
