73-1Africa Top Sports reported on the overcoming of World and European champion, Spain by the Bafana Bafana of South Africa (1-0) in their Tuesday’s international friendly at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The only the strike of the highly-charged clash was the work of Bernard Parker.

After the game attended by some 60, 000 people, a friend told the South African Football Association president, Dr. Danny Jordaan that luck has been on his side.

“My response is that the harder I work the luckier I get,” he responded.

“We have a plan to put Bafana Bafana on top of the world and to develop football at all levels in this country. This is a positive beginning for me in my first months in office, but it is just the beginning there are great things to come.”
