Ghana international midfielder of AC Milan Sulley Muntari who joined the club after qualifying his country for Fifa 2014 World Cup finals after an aggregate 7-3 win over Egypt on November 19 in Cairo, has just picked up an injury while in action for his Italian side on Saturday.

The injury forced the 28-year-ols to give way to Slovenian international Valter Birsa in the second-half.

Details of the injury are still scanty as Milan doctors will conduct scan on Monday to assess the extent of the damage.

Muntari becomes the second Ghanaian player to suffer injury after Andre Ayew who has been ruled out for up to eight weeks.
