Brazil 2014 Schalke blame Ghana for fielding Prince Boateng in Cairo

kevin-prince-boateng.9According to Ghanasoccernet.com, German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 blames Ghana for using their star midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng in Cairo during their decisive 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Egypt last November 19 at the Air Defense Stadium.
This revelation undoubtedly secondary to the failure of the Black Star to net during Schalke‘s 3-3 draw against Frankfurt in the weekend.
The German side insists that Ghana shouldn’t field the player as he was suffering from a slight left knee injury.
So as a result Schalke boss Jens Keller believes the player transferred for 10 million Euros in August from Italy’s AC Milan, has been negatively affected by his two weeks trip with the national squad.
“He is not satisfied, we are not. He spent two weeks on the road. I do not know what they did there,” the 43-year-old manager Horst Heldt said.

“The trip has certainly done him no good.”

Boateng scored as the Black Stars lost 2-1 in Cairo but sealed World Cup qualification with a 7-3 aggregate win over the Pharaohs.
