bd6196f9f8a696c1b1fae3fb24c3a65eAfrica Top Sports reported earlier on that the South African Under 20 national team known as the Amajita have arrived on Sunday in Lesotho for the 2013 Cosafa U20 youth championships.
The Amajita caretaker coach Shakes Mashaba has revealed that there is going to be a high level soccer ahead of his side’s opening game against the Seychelles on Wednesday 4 December 2013 at 14h00, at Mafeteng Stadium.
Amajita had their second training session in Maseru on Monday afternoon in wet and cold weather conditions. That gave them just a taste of what to expect when the tournament gets underway. But this does demoralize Mashaba who still believes in a high performance of his troop in the tournament.
“This tournament forms an important part of the development of soccer. I am sure those who will be around will see a high level of soccer. It does not come as easy as that and I would like to see any of the 14 teams here raise their hands and say they are going to win this tournament,” Mashaba said.
