Europe Grigor Dimitrov: Happy to be known as Grigor rather than Baby Fed

Grigor_Dimitrov6331Bulgarian No. 23-ranked tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has claimed that he is extremely happy to be accepted as Grigor Dimitrov and not just being recognized as the clone of his idol Roger Federer.
Haskovo resident Grigor Dimitrov has realized that his popularity is on the rise as the people have now started recognizing him for his own game. The man who has been compared to the 17 times Grand Slam champion Roger Federer because of their similarities in playing styles has began to shrug-off that Baby Fed tag as he won his first ATP Title in Stockholm by beating the Little Beast David Ferrer and upset the Serbinator Novak Djokovic in Madrid in May as well to attain a career high ranking of 22 during the course of the year in 2013.

The World No.23 said: “[People say] ‘Wow, this is Grigor, he is now. That’s what I wanna hear! I think there have been enough comparisons with Federer and all the rest. I mean, I do not think I should be compared to him because he is the greatest of all time and I’m not even close. I still have a long way to go.”
