England international striker of Manchester United Wayne Rooney has once again rejected approaches by his side to consider a contract extension if we can rely on reports by Goal.
The same source had reported in October that Rooney closed ears on United’s first approach to discuss a contract renewal.
The 28-year-old who netted eight times after 13 league appearances will leave the Premier league reigning champions ninth in the table.
However new Coach David Moyes publicly expressed his desire to extend Rooney.
Agent Paul Stretford of the player will engineer a transfer in the summer when Rooney will have just one year remaining on his contract.
“Wayne is resisting any and all attempts from the club to talk about his contract situation,” a source told Goal.
