Hearts of Lions goalkeeper Stephen Ahorlu has joined the race to battle for a place in the Black Stars goal-post for the 2014 World cup in Brazil,The Hearts of Lions stop-keeper believe he is fit to end  a call-up to the Black Stars calling coach Kwesi Appiah to give him a chance.

“I am ready to play the Black Stars, I ve conceded less goals in the Ghana Premier League as Hearts of Lions keeper.I only need another chance to justify myself to prove to Ghanaians what i am capable of“, Ahorlu said.

Stephen Ahorlu made his debut appearance for the Black Stars on 1 October 2009 in a friendly game against Argentina and was also part of the Black Stars team which made it to the quarter finals of the 2010 World cup in South Africa.
