Football Ghana foreign-based stars to feast Christmas at home known

Asamoah-Gyan-at-homeAs you all know players always return home once at break in their respective foreign clubs. Ghanaian towns are expected to be filled up by their foreign-based stars as of next week for Christmas fectivities. While some are eagerly waiting for breaks to pack their luggages back, others are not motivated at all due to varying reasons.

France-based defenders Jonathan Mensah and John Boye are expected in Ghana for Christmas. Espanyol’s Paul Quaye, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, Fatau Mohammed, Ghana youth international Michael Anaba, Clifford Aboagye, Thomas Partey, Isaac Appiah, Isaac Asare, Otuo Acheampong and Ishmael Antwi (all Atletico Madrid players) will also celebrate the christmas in Ghana after their league go on break on 22nd December.
Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris who is currently in Sweden will be on holidays in Ghana next week.

Norwegian-based defender Razak Nuhu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng who won the Eliteserien title with Stromsgodset arrived in town last week.
Former Hearts of Oak defender Mahatma Otoo, King Osei-Gyan, Gilbert Koomson and Ernest Asante who plays for IK Start are all in town.
Swiss-based duo Ishmael Yartey and Ebenezer Assifuah arrived on Monday night while Samuel Afum will arrive at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday evening.

Scandinavian-based players including those in Norway and Sweden who completed their league season last month were the first to arrive in town.
However Schalke 04’s Kevin Prince Boateng and Chelsea star Michael Essien are among those numerous foreign-based Black Stars whose chances to rally hometown are willowy.
