Super_Eagles_822644538Home-based Super Eagles of coach Stephen Keshi are still making proof of top form ahead of the African Nations championship to be held in South Africa next year from January 11 to February 1.

The latest proof of Eagles took place at Abuja National Stadium on Saturday as they inflicted a 2-0 friendly loss to Plateau United.
During the two previous clashes making the three scheduled friendlies a head of the competition due to lack of time as said coach Keshi, Eagles had hammered Prisons FC with a hollow 4-1 score before making Niger Tornadoes suffer a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday.
After the game, Keshi acknowledged that the team had improved from the previous performance against Niger Tornadoes. He however decried the lack of activity in the league which he noted was having a negative effect on the players’ fitness levels.
Dignitaries in attendance at the game included the likes of assistant to the sports minister and former African track queen, Mary Onyali-Omagbemi, NFF, director of technical, Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme and former Super Eagles coach and now chairman of the Plateau United management committee, Bitrus Bewarang.
