Football Keshi: It is difficult to be in camp during Christmas

Par7461752The world is just two days away from Christmas. The feast during which every parent is expected to enjoy beside his family as gifts for children represent the greatest deal in the feast. Africa Top Sports is sadly sorry for Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi who will not enjoy that chance to join his U.S-based family for Xmas.
Compelled to stay stuck to Nigeria as home-based Eagles are set to make their first appearance in the African Nations championship to be held in South Africa from January 11 to February 1, Keshi will camp with his crew during Christmas and New Year.
Keshi is right when he laments living Xmas away from family and talks of national sacrifice.
“I will love to be with my family in the U.S. and hang out with them, but we are here as part of the sacrifice we have to make,” Keshi said.

“It is difficult to be in camp during Christmas. It has been like that since we took over.

“We have had three Christmas and New Year in the camp, what can we do,” he asked rhetorically.
