Football Ballon d’Or 2013: A way from Franck Ribery?

Franck_Ribery_2480095bAt three weeks to the Ballon d’Or ceremony, Fabio Coentrao believes Franck Ribery cannot claim the trophy.

Ballon d’Or finalist alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, Franck Ribery appears to be primarily in challenge with the Portuguese for the trophy. Asked in the columns of Parisien on Monday, the French international had shown confident.
“I am serene. I know I gave my best and that is hard to beat. Now it is true that changing the date of the vote is not an advantage for me. This is the best year since I started in the pros. I experienced many special moments with both Bayern and the team of France. Win five trophies in the space of a few months, it’s great. I am proud,” he dropped confidently.

But if the international tricolor has achieved an exceptional year bestrewed five titles, Fabio Coentrao believes that on a purely individual statistic, he cannot anticipate the Real Madrid star.
“Messi is also a great player but he was injured too long. And we cannot give such an award to Ribéry who scored only 22 goals,” Fabio Coentrao justified.
The Portuguese left side of Real Madrid for A Bola  is still evolving at an extremely high level and he scored a double more goals than him.
