Football CHAN 2014: After Nigeria, Mali prepares to stun Bafana Bafana

On behalf of the first day of the group stage of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), Eagles of Mali were staggering against Nigeria last Saturday (2-1).

A victory that allows the local national team of Mali gain confidence before facing South Africa (host and group leader) next Wednesday.

 

“When you play against a team at their home, before their audience, it is never easy because they are supported by the public and sometimes by the referee. We’ll get down to analyze their game and find a solution and strategy to stun them. I want to take this opportunity to commend the initiative of CAF for this competition that showcases the talents and local technicians. This is an opportunity for we African coaches to show that we can do as well as the European technicians who are preferred to us,” Djibril Drame told the coach of the Eagles on the site of the CAF.
