Algeria CAF: Three countries in the organization of the Afcon 2021

CAF Logo 1On the sidelines of the meeting of the Executive Committee on January 24 in Cape Town, South Africa, CAF (Confederation of African Football) validated applications for the organization of the 2021 Afcon. Three countries will compete to host the high mass of African football.

These are Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea. CAF also states that “a unique commission, composed of experts, will be named at the next meeting of the Executive Committee of CAF of February 21, 2014 in Cairo, Egypt to conduct inspection visits in the candidate countries”.

The final selection of the host country of the 2021 Afcon will be known in September 2014 (instead of May). This, “to allow each candidate country to have the time necessary to receive the inspection CAF mission “.

We also know the 6 countries vying to host the Afcon 2019: Cameroon, Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia.
