Football Keshi: I know my men will do the job against Ghana

Stephen-Keshi-NIGERIA-ChampionThe first sports website in Africa (Africa Top Sports) does not stop getting you on the program that this day (Wednesday) is an exceptional one in West Africa as two football icons Ghana and Nigeria are set to clash for a place in the final of the 3rd edition of African Nations Championship 2014.

After the intimidating words from Ghana coach, Maxwell Konadu who believes in halting Eagles’ Chan title race, it is now the turn of Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi (winner of last year’s Afcon) to put all his trust in Eagles who according to him will not prove much before getting rid of Black Stars.

“The victory over Morocco is gone, now it’s like we are starting again from scratch and the players have to focus on Ghana,” he said.

“The Ghanaians are a very good team. They may not have scored as many goals before this stage, but they will be dangerous, and we cannot allow what happened against Morocco to happen again.”

The Nigeria coach remains confident that despite a slew of injuries, he had enough in his amours to triumph.

“We have a few injuries, but that is why we have 23 players here and I trust all of them to come in and do their job,” he adds.
