Michael Essien is officially committed until 30 June 2015 with AC Milan. The Ghana international has visited on Monday the trophy room of his new club in alongside Adriano Galliani, vice president and executive director of Milan.
José Mourinho paid tribute to the former Real Madrid player and wished him good luck. “I respected the wishes of Michael to leave Chelsea for AC Milan although I would have liked to keep him. He is a fantastic footballer and he gave everything for the Blues. I think it’s just letting him go to Italy. He can continue to play a long time at the highest level. I wish him the best,” said the Portuguese manager in the English press.
