At a press conference after the match, Maxwell Konadu, boss of the Black Stars who has successfully predicted the victory of his side over Eagles earlier on Wednesday, says the team’s work was rewarded: “With all the boys have achieved in the tournament I think it’s a deserved victory. For his part, Stephen Keshi who will face Zimbabwe, defeated in the semifinals by Libya in the ranking match, congratulates his opponent of the day: “Congratulations to Ghana. In a game pitting two beautiful teams, it is always difficult to predict who will emerge victorious. The best team won. For my part, I think I reached my goal, that of seeing boys who could be part of the group for the World Cup.”
