Algeria Brazil 2014: Already 1300 tickets sold in Algeria

1272568_FULL-LNDWorld Cup 2014 Brazil fascinates Algerian fans. 1,300 of 2,000 tickets available to the Algerian football federation have passed like hotcakes. According to the Director General of Algeria Touring Travel (VAT) Tahar Sahri, stockouts were observed in some outlets.

“We have 34 branches across the country, some of them have closed the operation after total depletion of places,” he told Algeria Press Service. Algerian fans have a choice of three classes of tickets, the first formula relatively less expensive concerns three star hotels. The most fortunate and privileged were shared between the last two categories at prices ranging between 450,000 and 750,000 dinars.

The Algeria will play this year their fourth World Cup in Group H with Belgium, South Korea and Russia. The Desert Foxes for their first output will face the Red Devils on June 17 at the Belo Horizonte stadium.
