Europe Sochi 2014 Olympics: Zero medal for Africa, the Russians masters at home, the whole table!

sochi-2014-winter-olympicsEnd of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. A competition which saw the Russians making laws at home. Following the recent events in the competition, they finished first with 33 medals including 13 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze. They anticipate Norwegians who obtained 26 including 11 Gold , 5 Silver and 10 Bronze. Canada is third with 25 medals pocketed. 10 are Gold, 10 Silver and 5 Bronze.

The United States, the Netherlands and Germany are respectively fourth, fifth and sixth. Switzerland is seventh, Belarus ranks eighth and Austria ninth. France ‘s totaled 15 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 7 Bronze and occupies 10th place.

As for Africans, they just took pride in the participating role. No medals obtained after two weeks of competition.
