The French technician restored at the helm of Guinea last month won his first match of the year with a 2-1 win in a friendly on Wednesday against Iran. This victory was drawn in the first half with two goals before the break registered by Kevin Constant and Ibrahima Traore.

After the break, Reza Ghoochannejhad reduces the scoring for Iranians but Guineans held out until the final whistle.

Congo and Libya neutralized 0-0. Good performance for the Red Devils headed by Claude Leroy that held in check the local African champion.

Earlier, Zimbabwe inflicted a bitter 4-1 loss to Malawi while Sudan-Kenya match was canceled.
