Fast Engenharia had stated that the worker wore at the time of the accident “all obligatory safety equipment”.

This stadium had already known a crane accident that killed two workers in November. The work had been affected and the delivery of the enclosure delayed.

But officials of works have announced that the stadium will be delivered to FIFA on April 15, 2014, but incomplete. However, they believe that this stadium would be ready to host the inaugural game between Brazil and Croatia.
