We no longer speak of Bobcats to refer to the franchise of Michael Jordan. The Charlotte are henceforward called Hornets.

Abandoned by the New Orleans last season, the Hornets have officially been resettled in the NBA last night during the draft lottery. The change has already begun with the Time Warner Cable Arena, which put the new colors of the franchise created in 2003.

Under the name Charlotte Bobcats, the North Carolina franchise took part in two playoffs, the last of which was this season.

Bismack Biyombo and his teammates were swept by the Miami Heat in the first round.
