tony-parker_dwyane-wadeWe will once again meet with history in the NBA Finals. Besides the title Spurs and Heat will try to win, Tony Parker and Dwyane Wade have the opportunity to join a select group in the finals.

Each holder of three rings and an MVP of the finals, TP and D-Wade will play their fifth NBA career Finals as of this June 6. At the end of this series seven games, one of them will join a small group of players who won 4 rings and 1 MVP of the finals. They are so far seven players who have this list. It is Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, John Havlicek and a player in this final: Tim Duncan.

The rear of Miami Dwyane Wade, champion in 2006, 2012 and 2013 was Finals MVP in 2006. The point guard of San Antonio, champion in 2003, 2005 and 2007, Tony Parker was named man of the final in 2007.

Beyond this stat which can claim Manu Ginobili and Udonis Haslem (three titles each but not MVP. Which is all still a bit difficult since they are benchers), this final will allow one of the Big Three to get a place in history. Los Tres Amigos, Wade-Bosh-James are in the race to get their third ring to join the Big Three of Texas and three other trios.

Meanwhile, Parker, Duncan and Ginobili can only climb to the top of the hierarchy with a fourth league title since the formation of the trio.
