Howard Webb, one of Europe’s top referees in the past two years, will head an English trio to lead Thursday’s meeting Ivory Coast- Colombia in Group C of the World Cup 2014. Webb has also led the final of the last world Cup in South Africa.

Howard Webb is known for his rigor and pedagogy. He will be assisted by Darren Cann and Michael Mullarkey. The fourth official is Peruvian Victor Carillo while the reserve referee is Rodney Aquino from Paraguay.

Colombia and Ivory Coast won their first matches respectively against Greece 3-0 and Japan 2-1.
