Africa Soccer ADEBAYOR: I’M GETTING BETTER NOW

Emmanuel Adebayor cured his malaria. The Togolese striker hospitalized last weekend for malaria drops news Wednesday on his official social networks. “Thanks for all your good wishes. I’m getting better now,” wrote Adebayor on Facebook.

While Tottenham left for the United States for their first pre-season tour, Adebayor has yet to observe a period of four days of rest before regaining lawns. And the former Arsenal striker is eager. “Soon back in training in preparation for the new season”, has he added.

Adebayor scored 14 goals in all competitions last season with Tottenham though he was shelved by the Portuguese coach Andre Villas-Boas.

The appointment of Tim Sherwood offered him the front of the stage. For this new season, he displays his ambitions: “The most important thing is to work hard and get back in shape. I play for Tottenham, we are a team. For me, the goal is to finish the season in the top four.”
