Africa Soccer SAFA: NEW BREEDER TO BE ANNOUNCED ON JULY 26

The successor of Gordon Igesund will be known on July 26. The now former Bafana Bafana coach has seen his contract expired last August.

The Federation of South African Football, which does not intend to renew their manager, will designate the new boss of the selection in the late July, after a meeting of its Executive Committee.

The new coach will be selected from the 14 applications recorded by the SAFA, said the instance President, Dennis Mumble.

Stephen Keshi, out of contract, whose arrival has been denied twice, will be one of the favorites. The other, who is also entitled to take charge of the selection, is the coach of Iran Carlos Queiroz who hesitates to give a sequel to his adventure with the Persians. Current coach of South Africa’s Hopes and U20 selection, Shakes Mashaba is also in the shortlist.
