Restarting next August, 22^th for African players operating in Ligue 1. At the stop since the weekend of March, 8^th, the new season (2020-2021) for the French football championship will resume on that date. This has been the decision from LFP Board of Directors on May, 20^th with a report.

The League 2 resumption is scheduled for August, 23^th.

According to the report, these dates have been set after consultating Mediapro, Canal+ and be IN SPORTS.

Only the UEFA agreement is pending with regard to the European competitions planning. The LFP is therefore waiting for this agreement to finalize the general schedule for the 2020-2021 competitions.
