The GFA (Ghana Football Association) announced this Tuesday that it General Secretary in approval of the Executive Council , has appointed Alexander Kotey as Manager of Referees .

The GFA chose the 2006 referee of the year as it is written in the Association’s communication report , after a rigorous recruitment .

Among his duties , Sir Kotey will have to assist the Referees Committee , implement decisions adopted by the Referees Committee , carry out all tasks related to the logistics of Refereeing , etc .
