Africa Traoré, Gana, CAF : All for Blackout Tuesday

The sports world has not hesitated to follow the Blackout Tuesday movement initiated by American artists. It is a concept to fight racism.

Since this Tuesday, sportspersons have posted a black square on their social networks. Blackout Tuesday is initiated by the music industry to protest against racism and police violence against black people.

This follows the death of George Floyd last week. Like CAF (African Football Confederation), several African sportpersons are performing their Blackout Tuesday.

« Racism and discrimination have no place in f̶o̶o̶t̶b̶a̶l̶l̶ 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 », can we read on CAF Twitter page
