Algerian football federation (FAF), could resume its activities as soon as the Ministry of Youth and Sports validates health measures it envisaged .

In order to resume the Algerian football championships in the coming days, some measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic should be validated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MJP) can be read in one of the FAF. And this should be done in a short time.

“Following requests from several media, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) regrets not being able to give, for the moment, information. About the measures envisaged for the resumption of football activities. Which are being finalized before their transmission to the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MJS) for validation ”, indicated the federal authority.

According to the president of the FAF, Kheireddine Zetchi, the rest of the 2019-2020 season (Leagues 1 and 2) could be played over an 8-week period.
