Africa Hearts of Oak : New signings to make the club trophy-winning team

Despite this Coronavirus crisis period putting football activities on hold, Hearts of Oak have however recruited five new players. According to Kwame Opare Addo, Public Relations Officer of the Phobians, this operation will make the club trophy-winning team again.

The Phobians signed the dread winger from Ivory Coast, Eric Dizan to boost the attack of the team. There are also Mamane Lawali a midfielder from Niger, Danjuma Kuti, a forward from Nigeria. Two Ghanaians in the list : Nuru Sulley, a popular tough defender and Abednego Tetteh, a striker.

“All the signings the club have made are very good players and it was based on the recommendations of the coach,” he told Asempa FM.

“It is unfortunate that there is no football but hopefully we hop football will return because these are players everyone will love to watch them play.

In fact, the club have not won the Ghana Premier League since 2009. According to Opare Addo, the new comers will make the club end its ten years trophyless jinx.

“These are quality players and we only hope that they will make the club a trophy-winning team,” he said.
