Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Samuel Kalu could be on his way out of French Ligue 1 side, Girondis Bordeaux this summer.

Kalu joined Bordeaux in 2018 from Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent for a fee worth €8m but has failed to make much impact for his club.

The 23-year-old managed to score just one goal in 20 appearances for Bordeaux in the aborted 2019/2020 Ligue 1 season.

His poor performance did not go unnoticed by the club manager Paolo Souza who criticized him for not showing enough commitment that endeared the club to sign him.

The criticism from his manager has got the player pondering leaving the club with Turkey giants, Galatasaray as his preferred destination.

According to Girondis33.com, Bordeaux are willing to let him go fr a fee around €10m for the player.

Should the deal sail through, he will play along side his national teammate, Henry Onyekuru who returned to Galatasaray from Monaco on loan after failing to impress in his first season In France.
