Africa Soccer Ghana FA hails Jordan Ayew’s achievement in English Premier League

Ghana FA congratulates Jordan Ayew as he became on Saturday, the highest-scoring Ghanaian in the history of English Premier League.

The 28-year-old came on top of the Ghanaian scorers in PL as he netted one gaol during Crystal Palace’s victory against Bornemouth.

Former Leeds United forward Anthony Yeboah was leading with 24 goals so far. But with this new goal of ex-Marseille striker, he is now the top scorer with 25 goals. Michael Essien, André Ayew and Asamoah Gyan completed the top five with 21, 17 and 10 goals respectively.

Ghana Football Association then congratulates him opn social media.

“Jordan Ayew leapfrogs Tony Yeboah as the highest scoring Ghanaian player in the English Premier League. Congratulations Jordan Ayew”.
